 Collectors of Victorian Memorial Jewelry will find this wonderful Antique Locket with two Daguerreotype photos and inscription to be an excellent addition to their collection. The locket appears to be an Antique Pocket Watch but when you open the case there are two Daguerreotype photos, one of a man and one of a woman. The gold filled case measures
approximately 1 1/2 inches in diameter and is decorated with an engine turned
design on the front and back. The front has a wonderfully engraved panel of
flowers and leaves with the inscription "My Mother obt. Oct. 6th 1849". The
back of the locket has a round panel that is engraved with the initials " AML
